Choosing a streaming service

Start with the shows and films you want, then check which platform offers them in your region.

Start with your region

Streaming catalogs are licensed country by country. Netflix, Prime Video, Max, and Apple TV each publish their own catalog and plan information, so check the service where you live before subscribing.

The same name can offer different plans or a different catalog in another country. A platform's own site is the best place to confirm what is currently available.

Compare the kind of catalog

Some platforms focus on a studio catalog, while others carry programming from several licensors. Peacock, Hulu, Paramount+, AMC+, MGM+, and Shudder describe their current catalog and subscription options on their official sites.

For anime, Crunchyroll has a dedicated service. Some general streaming catalogs also carry anime, but individual titles and language options vary.

Check the terms before paying

Review the plan, billing interval, trial terms, and cancellation instructions before starting a subscription. Bundles and add-on channels may have separate terms from a base plan.

The directory links directly to each provider. It does not sell subscriptions or host streams.
